The project is located in Beijing, China. The interior decoration style looks like a long ink roll of Chinese paintings. Linglong, glittering, elegant and delightful, revealing a soothing and graceful Lyric brushwork, using materials and color matching and creating a delicate sense of quality, the overall space not only has the clear feeling of ink halo dye, but also has the meticulous luster of traditional Chinese silk embroidery culture.
The school is housed in a glass box that overlooks into a beautiful courtyard with old banyan trees by the main gate. The design concept was inspired by Chinese classical gardens in framing of views and borrowing of scenes. The lounge became the host of evening conversations cradled under the vault ceiling in bamboo mesh. The large area rug designed as an evocative fish pound, the long bar in an abstract shape of a boat, plus art photo panels inspired by scrolls of Chinese landscape paintings were all pulled together to create the illusion of a fairytale.
To celebrate more than 400 years of history of Quinta do Crasto, an emblematic Portuguese estate from Douro with wines recognized worldwide, Omdesign created and produced Honore Port, a special edition limited to 400 bottles of a very old tawny Port with more than 100 years, that mirrors the terraces of the Douro valley, where Quinta do Crasto stands guard. The major challenge was to develop a highly luxurious and differentiating packaging, made by the hands of Portuguese artisans, able to eternalize more than 4 centuries of history, identity and values of Quinta do Crasto.
